Privacy

Hosting: This website is hosted on Netlify (US/EU edge); content and user data live in a Supabase database in Zurich, Switzerland. Technically necessary data (IP address, timestamp, browser) is processed in server logs.

Account & login: When registering (e-mail code, password or Google) we store your e-mail address and profile data to provide member features. Deletion anytime via post@realtasting.com.

Newsletter: Double opt-in only. Your address is used exclusively for the newsletter; unsubscribe anytime.

AI features: Photos uploaded to the bottle scanner are sent to the Google Gemini API for analysis and are not permanently stored there. Account required, limited to 10 requests per day.

Analytics: If enabled, we use Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymization. No data is sold to third parties.

Maps: The wine map loads tiles from OpenStreetMap/CARTO; your IP address is transmitted to their servers.
