Mix the butter and sugar until light and creamy

Add the ground almonds

Add optional almond flavor

Now add the eggs, mix, and little by little mix in the flour

Prepare the syrup: combine 25 Cl water, 2 Tbpsn of sugar sugar and 6 Tbspn of Rhum. Stir togehter, bring to a quick boil and let it cool down.

Gently slice the old croissants in 2 halves

With a brush paint the inside of both halves with the sirop mixture

Add 2 - 3 spoons of frangipane in the inside

Brush the top of the croissants with sirop and a spoon of frangipane, add some almond slices on top

Heat the oven to 180 degrees and bake for 12 - 15 minutes
