Whisk together the flour, ground almonds, baking powder, and salt

In a seperate bowl mix the eggs, sugar untill white and thick. Now add the aromas and add the melted butter and milk gently fold this in. Mix in the cherry liquer and amaretto well.

From the other bowl fold in the flour mixture gently follow by your halved cherries

Bake the cake for 7 - 10 minutes and put the whole cherries on top and they sink in for the remainder of the baking distrubute them evenly

Bake the cake for another 5 - 10 minutes until cake tester comes out clean.
