Tasting note
This Second Growth. Deuxieme Grand Cru Classe in 1855. Has a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon 60-70% and Merlot 20-30% with Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. A wonderful example of the great 2009 vintage. Wines from this vintage are faster ready to drink thank the world famous 2005 and 2010 vintages. It has a wonderful depth, silkyness. The mouthfeel is majestic. Notes of cedar and cassis. The tannic structure is deep and refined with a finish that scream have another glass. A delight.
