Savagnin with a whisper of the sherry cupboard: quince and fresh walnut, spiced and a little wilful. Not the most gezellig wine at the table — the oxidative edge split the room — yet I kept returning to my glass.
Flight 2 'Weisses Jura'. Savagnin (in Jura 'Traminer'), biodynamic; spicy, slightly oxidative.
