Note de dégustation

Tawny red appearance with a brown shimmer. Roast and red fruit aromas on the nose. Vanilla and dark black cherries, brambles accompanied by distant roasted vanilla aromas. The tannins are moderately fine but lack depth. This is a light full bodied wine that has typical for this appelation 15.00% Vol. Alc. Therefor the wine needs to be served around 17 degrees to avoid the alcohol overpowering the senses. A great red wine for winter nights. In my opinion it is a little flat and without a lot of perspective and a little too much fruit and too little acidity. As said acidity is the GPS of wine.
