
Giros on the BBQ
This dish originates from Greece. Use the spice mix to marinate the meat. Leave for a day and it will taste even better

Gently roast the whole herbs and spices. Except the powdered spices and herbs. Mix the giros herbs and crush to a powder. Put the meat, oil and spices in a bag. Vacumm seal this and leave in the fridge for at least 1 hour. Better 1 - 2 days. The vacuum sealing drwans the flavor into the meat. Get the pork nack steaks with plenty of fat to cary the flavor.

Heat the grill to 200 degrees celcius. Let the steaks drip and remove excess spices to avoid burning them. Cook the steaks for approx 4 - 5 minutes on each side. Do not overcook. Or sousvide the steaks and brown on the grill. At the same time grill the pita breads. Slice open. Let the nack steaks rest. Slice the nack steaks in thin stripes.

Coat the inside of the pita with some Tzaziki, Meat, parsley, and when filled at some Tzaziki on top.
